Research Associate 'Youth Voice in the work of Creative Partnerships'

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate on this research project, ‘Youth Voice in the work of Creative Partnerships', funded by Arts Council (England). Creative Partnerships (CP) aims to promote creative learning through building partnerships between schools and the cultural sector.
The project will map CP ‘voice’ initiatives, identifying the critical factors that sustain young people’s engagement in them, and will theorise the broader significance of the new emphasis on youth participation in contemporary schooling and society. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the research team to collect and analyse a range of data from CP schools around England.
You will need a Doctorate or a Masters with a significant research component in education, sociology, cultural studies or related discipline; a successful track record of carrying out research in educational or similar settings, and proven experience of qualitative data collection and analysis methods.
